All Stamford providers working with young people, are welcome to attend our quarterly meeting for FY25.

Young People & Social Media: Benefits, Risks & Helping Them Manage it

Youth today are faced with navigating a tremendous amount of social media, which we know can negatively affect their mental health. This interactive training will help us teach young people how to effectively use and manage social media.

  • Agenda:
    • Training 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
    • Networking/Resource Sharing 12:30 to 1 p.m.
  • Trainer:
    • Dr. Ortiz-Schwartz, MD, DFAPA, Silver Hill Hospital: Team Lead Adolescent Inpatient Service
  • Location: Domus Kids, 83 Lockwood Avenue, Stamford.
    • Park on the street or in the back parking lot off Frank Street; enter through front of building (buzzer entry).
